Love For Food
11:00 am

(For those not joining the morning CE session.)

Your Greek culinary tour starts at a 100-year old café -- Mokka, the coffee specialist near the main entrance of the market.  Your guide will take you on a food journey through the cheese stalls, the multicolored olives, souvlaki and gyros. Around the area you will find poplar tavernas and ouzeries.  There are some wonderful cheese shops to visit, like Arcadia, one of the oldest in Athens.  Continue with a walk around the upmarket district of Kolonaki with immaculate streets and art galleries and take the Lycabettus Funicular to the top of the hill, for impressive panoramic views of Athens. Peek into the whitewashed St. George Church or enjoy some food at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
